For this project, I took on the challenge of redesigning the Gallery app, which was in clear need of a visual and functional transformation.
The existing app featured an outdated and overly basic design, with limited capabilities that no longer met the client’s vision.
The goal was to elevate the app with a more modern interface and a richer feature set, including a duplicate cleaner, expanded photo editing tools, onboarding and permission screens, a recently deleted category, as well as support for dark mode and landscape orientation – creating a more intuitive and versatile user experience overall.
Challenges:
One of the main challenges in this project was expanding the app’s features without harming the overall simplicity of the experience. The redesign also required updating an outdated interface and creating a clearer structure to support the new functionality. Features such as duplicate cleaning and photo editing demanded careful flow design, ensuring that complex actions felt clear, controlled, and easy to use.Solutions:

The design was refreshed with a modern and consistent visual style that supports better navigation.
